Kathy Johnson

Regional Manager

Kathy Johnson with over 30 years of federal service, currently works for Defense Finance and Accounting Services in Columbus, Ohio, as a Financial Specialist.  She holds an Associate of Art Degree with an emphasis in Business. She has Bachelor of Science Degrees in Management and Management Computer Information Systems and Management.  She is also a certified Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute

Kathy joined FEW in 2011 and became a lifetime member in 2016.  She has served in various positions at the Chapter and Regional levels including:  Chapter President, Chapter Vice President, Chapter Legislative Chair, Regional Legislative Chair, and Regional Representative.  She also served on the National Training Program Committee in 2019.

Kathy is a faithful member of her church where she has been a member of the choir.  She has volunteered her time to participate in Susan G Komen Race for a Cure, Mid-Ohio Food Bank helping to hand out food, the Methodist Church Free Store, in the emergency room at Mt. Carmel Hospital and with Angel Tree providing toys.

These women have demonstrated exemplary leadership and have made significant contributions to FEW, given back to the community, and demonstrated a willingness to serve and assist other women in their personal and professional development.
They each will be receiving a very nice plaque!  Thanks again to everyone that was nominated and/or nominated themselves.

 

Great Lakes  Region’s Virtual Spring Retreat

It will be held on Saturday, 24 Apr from 9:00am-3:30pm (EST).  We will have a multitude of presentations that compliment the theme of the event: Creating Resiliency in Our New Normal

The cost is a low $20 and a portion of that ticket price will be donated to the Local Food Bank in the Dayton, OH area.  Full details are in the attached flyer, which you are welcome to share with others.
