The FEW Foundation for Education and Training Honors FEW’s Second President Daisy Fields

Daisy FieldsIn 2015, Federally Employed Women’s Foundation for Education and Training (The FEW Foundation) is honoring FEW’s Second National President, Daisy Fields, as she turns 100 years young on March 4. This year, the FEW Foundation’s Past President’s Scholarship has been officially named the “Daisy Fields Past President’s Scholarship” and will be used to fund one or more FEW members’ attendance at FEW’s National Training Program July 13-16, 2015, in New Orleans.

Daisy was a founding member of Federally Employed Women, served as FEW’s Second National President from 1969-1971 and FEW’s Executive Director for many years. She served as the editor of FEW’s newsletter for 16 years. She remains keenly interested in FEW, its activities and successes. She is very happy that the organization has endured and that FEW will soon be 47 years old. To learn more about Daisy, see attached bio or “Google” Daisy Fields-Veteran Feminists of America.

What a great opportunity to honor FEW’s second president and to encourage FEW members to “never give up“ on advancing their careers and attending FEW’s outstanding National Training Program. Your generous donation to the “2015 Daisy Fields Past Presidents Scholarship Fund” is greatly appreciated. Donors contributing $100 or more will be recognized during FEW’s 2015 National Training Program; but no donation is too small and your donation is tax-deductible.
