Public Service Recognition Week – May 5 -11, 2019

Public Service Recognition Week May 5-11, 2019
Celebrated annually during the first full week of May since 1985, Public Service Recognition Week honors the men and women who serve our nation as federal, state, county and local government employees.  They serve in the areas of national and local security and safety, veteran care, medical advancement, and keep the wheels turning in hundreds of agencies, providing important services to the American people.  The importance and value of your contribution work only adds to the greatness of this country and the public we serve.

People choose public service because they wish to make an impact. The dedication of the day-to-day work done well may be easily overlooked, but it touches the lives of all citizens.  To the members of Federally Employed Women (FEW), your public service is recognized and valued. FEW appreciates your work to ensure our government does its job well, and in doing so, you serve us all. Thank you for your continued contributions to this great nation.

Happy Public Service Week!
