Avoid a mediocre career! Begin “Your Journey to Excellence” at the 2015 NTP.

Training provides a level of proficiency that helps everyone achieve their goals.  Perhaps its most positive benefit is better employees.  Equally as important is the kind of training employees receives.   FEW has cultivated our National Training Program (NTP) for over 45 years with career development and career enhancement tools.  The NTP encourages our attendees to dream bigger and reach higher in their professional development.  FEW provides this training  as a part of our mission to promote professional growth and create diverse workforces within Agencies.

Improving your skills is not only about improving skills related to their specific field, but also improving skills related to the interpersonal and communication.  These abilities are constantly developing and perhaps more important than field related abilities.  Employees with interpersonal skills are more likely to move up in their career.   They have fantastic project management skills and can motivate others to drive towards the goal.   People with these kind of skills tend to fit better with the Agency and become the best in manager/leaders of teams.   Other skills that should be emphasized besides those related to industry and interpersonal include how management time effectively, how to deal with disputes, and how to build a strong team.

Additionally, Training is equally beneficial to Agencies for a trained workforce. Trained employees provide a qualified pool of candidates for open positions and  knowledge sharing skills for better job performance.  It also allows more proficiency in sharing Agencies missions.  The right kind of perspective is a hard thing to cultivate, whereas direct contact through our Agency Forums make is easier to cultivate a staff and  improve upon Agency retention rates.  Employees are more loyal to companies that value their growth and want to cultivate it.

This is your opportunity to begin “Your Journey to Excellence” and make your career extraordinary.  Join us at the 46th NTP, July 13 – 17, 2015 at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Excellence is a better teacher than mediocrity. The lessons of the ordinary are everywhere. Truly profound and original insights are to be found only in studying the exemplary.
