Leveling up at BIG

Greetings from BIG! For those of you not familiar with Blacks In Government (BIG), it was organized in 1975 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1976. BIG has been a national response to the need for African Americans in public service to organize around issues of mutual concern and use their collective strength to confront workplace and community issues.

I’m here with other FEW leaders representing our mission to end sex and gender discrimination, to encourage diversity for the inclusion and equity in the workplace, and for the advancement and professional growth of women in the federal service. Just as important, we’re here to collaborate with our counterparts in BIG to address issues that impact you, our FEW membership, and to see the innerworkings of their successful National Training Institute as we plan for FEW’s 2023 National Training Program. We’re also meeting and welcoming new FEW members thanks to our visibility here as an exhibiting partner.

Know this, during this administration, FEW will seek every opportunity to ‘Level Up for Success’ so that we grow our organization and represent your interests effectively.
