Valerie J. Stringer, Regional Manager,

Seldon, Regional Manager,
Great Lakes Region Mable is a Packaging Specialist at Defense Supply Center Columbus, Ohio. She started in as a clerk typist at Defense Electronics Supply Center over 20 years ago. At DESC, Mable was the FWPM for over three years. She is on the FWP committee at DSCC. She has been a FEW member since 1991 and is a lifetime member. She has served two terms as Equalitarian Chapter President; and one term as Chapter Treasurer. She’s been on the planning committee for four RTPs. When the Great Lakes Region hosted the 2001 NTP, she served as the Treasurer, Auditor Chair and Facilitator Chair. She has been a Regional Representative for four years. She was the Exhibitor Chair for 2007 and 2008 NTPs. She was the first recipient of the National Allie Lattimer Award, which she received 2006. Liz Perry , Mid-Atlantic Region,
Regional Manager Liz is a Supply Chain Counsel with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia. This agency is responsible for supporting the armed forces in the areas of subsistence, clothing and textiles, construction and equipment; and medical materiel. She supervises seven attorneys who provide legal advice on contract matters to two supply chains. Liz received a J.D. from Howard University School of Law. She is a lifetime member and has served in various positions at the Chapter, Region and National levels. These positions include National Awards Chair, Mid-Atlantic Region Bylaws Chair, Mid-Atlantic Region Awards Chair, Philadelphia Chapter President and Philadelphia Chapter Vice-President.
She became a federal employee in 1980, currently holding the position of Director, Property and Fiscal Operations, USPFO for Kansas in Topeka. As a collateral duty, she has been Kansas Adjutant General Department’s Federal Women’s Program Manager since 1990. She has served in Kansas’ Army National Guard since 1980, currently a Lieutenant Colonel performing duties as the Comptroller. She has a Master of Business Administration from Kansas State University.
Dawn
is a Program Analyst assigned to the Office of Program Evaluation
and Risk Analysis within IRS, at the Portsmouth, NH, office. Dawn
has been active in FEW since 1989, holding Chapter, Regional, and
National offices. She became a lifetime member of the Federal Triangle
Chapter in the early 1990’s and a lifetime member of FEW in the
mid-1990’s. She served as the Regional Manager for
the D.C. Metro Region prior to moving to New Hampshire
for family reasons. Dawn received the FEW National President’s
Award in 2005.
Marsha Strackany retired as Chief of the Graphic Arts Department
at the United States Air Force Academy with 33 years of Federal
service. As a collateral duty, Marsha was involved with the Federal
Women’s Program for 16 years. Eight years of the 16 were
spent as the Special Emphasis Program Manager (SEPM) for the Federal
Women’s Program. While serving as a SEPM, she received numerous
EEO awards. Marsha also was assigned as a Process Action Team (PAT)
leader to develop an awards program for the Dean of Faculty and
participated as a member of the Human Dignity/Respect PAT team
for the Academy. Marsha has been a member of the Columbine Chapter
in Colorado Springs since1993. She held chapter offices of Treasurer,
Secretary, Legislative Chair, Vice-President and President. Marsha
has served several terms as Assistant Regional Manager for the
Rocky Mountain Region. She has attended every National Training
Program (NTP) since 1993. Since retirement, Marsha started her
own catering business called “MarSuzettes Catering” She
also owns, with her husband, rental properties around the Colorado
Springs area. Marsha is married to Renny Strackany and they have
three children, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Judy Rosco, Regional Manager,
Southwest Region Carol Culbertson, Regional Manager, Western Region
A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Carol’s calling was advising and assisting managers and employees in four federal agencies: She retired in 2004 with 33 years of service, concurrently she served for 36 years in the Navy Reserve, retiring as a Captain. She joined FEW in San Diego, California. She became FEW Chapter President in Phoenix, Arizona, and in Aurora, Colorado. She laid the foundation for chartering two FEW Chapters, the Downtown Denver Chapter, and the Phoenix Valley of the Sun Chapter. On four different occasions she served on FEW’s National Boards of Directors and is currently serving her second term as Western Regional Manager.
