Shara Oates

Regional Manager

Shara Oates is the current elected Rocky Mountain Regional Manager since July 1, 2020 and for many years she has been dedicated to FEW. For over 39 years, she has worked for the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center and currently she is a Medical Support Assistant Supervisor for the Radiology Department. She also served as a Federal Women’s Program Manager for over ten years and on the EEO Diversity Committee as a Co-Chair and Recorder for the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office.

Recently, she received a Bravo Award for assisting in setting up hospital participation for Silence for Solidarity and White Coat Campaign and she worked on the “Civility with A Smile Campaign” which included the set-up of programs to include speakers, refreshments, location, etc. in support of Women’s History Month in 2014.
