Joan Chopp

Regional Manager

Joan Chopp retired from USDA/Natural Resources Conservation Service after 35 years of service.  She served as the Federal Women’s Program Manager for both the State of Nebraska and for the Mid-Continent Region.  Joan was a charter member of the Nebraska Heartland FEW Chapter in Lincoln, Nebraska, which was formed in 1998.  Joan is a Diamond Lifetime Member.  She served FEW as Chapter President, Chapter Secretary, Regional Secretary, Regional Manager (4 terms), National FEW News & Views Editor, National Secretary (two terms) and has served on six National Training Program Committees in a variety of positions.

Joan is married to her husband, Larry of 54 years. She has three children, three grandchildren and one great grandson.  Joan is totally devoted to FEW and FEW’s mission and promotes FEW wherever she goes and in whatever she does!
