Support to FEW NTP
After Katrina hit the city of New Orleans, Louisiana in August
2005, many schools suffered the after-effects of the hurricane
and are still suffering. Federally Employed Women (FEW) is reaching
out to give back with a year-long initiative to adopt two schools
in the New Orleans, Louisiana, McDonogh #35 College Preparatory
Senior High School and Mary Bethune Elementary Literature/Technology
School, area to provide needy children with resources they so greatly
need, such as books, supplies and uniforms. Our goal is to raise
a minimum of $5,000.00 for each school. This initiative will culminate
with FEW’s 2010 National Training Program being held in New
Orleans July 12-16, 2010. To find out more about the worthwhile
effort, please visit www.fewntp.org
