Greetings:

The Federally Employed Women's (FEW) awards nominations an opportunity for us to recogize regions, chapters, individuals, and agencies/companies that have made significant contributions to the purpose and goals of this organization.    Awards application will be accepted April 1, 2013 through April 26, 2013.  As a member of FEW, I welcome you to apply.    In order to assist you in submitting a thorough and complete application.   I suggest you go to the National Policy and Procedure Manual (NPPM) located on the FEW website and review the qualifications for each award category prior to your submitting an award packet.

  • Barbara Boardman Tennant
  • FEW Regional Achievement
  • Allie Latimer
  • Private Sector
  • Distinguished Service
  • Champion of Diversity
  • Helen R. Dudley Overall Chapter Achievement Award - (Must Submit Nomination Package)

Chapter Achievement Awards

  • Newsletter
  • Best Programs
  • Fundraiser - (one fundraiser only)
  • Membership - (a current membership roster must be submitted for December 2011 and December 2012)
  • Special Project - (one project only)
  • Special Emphasis - (one special emphasis only - do not submit the same award for special emphasis that was submitted for special project and vice versa)

For a Chapter to be eligible for Chapter Awards

  • All quarterly reports submitted on time (by 10th of month - no exceptions)
  • Timely responded to requests for information from national, regional, etc.
  • All quarterly reports submitted on time (by 10th of month - no exceptions)
  • Best Programs - must have held training in FEWs four focus areas (Diversity, Legislative, Training, and Compliance) during the past Award period (April 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012).
  • All required supporting documentation must be included.
  • Nomination packages must be electronically submitted via FEW Award Nomination click here

Following award criteria as outlined in the NPPM will help keep you focused on FEWs mission and focus areas (Diversity, Legislative, Training and Compliance), as well as ensure that you meet the qualifications for nomination.
