Membership

ELIGIBILITY

The membership of FEW shall consist of chapters whose members have subscribed to the purposes and ideals of FEW, paid FEW dues and, in the case of chapters having been granted a charter, continue to function in compliance with the conditions set forth in National FEW Bylaws, and the policies established by the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors. Membership shall be classified as stated in Article III of the Bylaws.

Regular Membership
Members of chapters in good standing are referred to as Regular Members. All members are required to pay annual dues. Members may renew online by clicking the link below. Annual dues are $45.00, which includes both National and Chapter dues.

Members are encouraged to:

• Attend meetings and participate in chapter activities
• Become familiar with FEW’s goals and objectives
• Become familiar with FEW’s Legislative Agenda
• Meet with your legislators to educate them on FEW’s position
• Keep abreast of issues affecting women and Federal employees
• Respond to action alerts by communicating to the legislators
• Register and vote in local, state, and national elections
• Participate in training in the program areas of compliance, diversity and legislation

A Lifetime Membership may be granted to regular members in good standing for the previous five (5) consecutive years as specified in Article III, Section 5 of FEW's National Bylaws.  It is a one time cost of $300.00  A national lifetime membership does not preclude payment of yearly chapter/Regional obligations.  Lifetime members will receive a permanent membership card specifying holder is a lifetime member, a letter of acknowledgment signed by the National President and a personalized plaque showing lifetime membership.

A Diamond Membership is an upgrade to your Lifetime Membership and can be purchased for $200.00.  Members will receive a special place at the pre-registration desk at the NTP, reserved seating at NTP special events, an invitation to the president's reception (first year only), recognition in the NTP Program Book, and a small gift bag at the NTP.

JOINING FEW

Membership in FEW is open to any person who meets the eligibility requirements described above. You join as a regular member of an organized chapter.

You must join a chapter. To find a chapter near your home or office, you may use our Region/Chapter links (buttons on the left) to find the latest information. If no chapter is indicated, one will be selected for you according to your address. Chapters with informational web sites are linked from there.
