FEW's Publications
FEW's NEWS and VIEWS is published on a regular recurring basis and is distributed to the members and subscribers. Distribution is made to other individuals upon request. Bulk distribution is made in accordance with procedures established by the Publications Policy and Review Committee.
The Publications Policy and Review Committee, chaired by Wilma Huey, determines the general overall focus of each issue of FEW's NEWS and VIEWS, selects feature stories, sets priorities for publication of unsolicited articles and timely newsworthy articles, establishes policy for acceptance/rejection of paid advertising, establishes editorial policy, and provides written responses to 'letters to the editor.' Publication, including editorial and production processes, are coordinated by an editor who serves as a Special Assistant to the President.
The source for written articles, photograph captions, and headlines are the officers and members of FEW. Articles submitted include local events, major achievements, future plans, organizational meeting announcements, training announcements and other topics of general interest to the membership.
