Northeast
The Northeast Region of Federally Employed Women (FEW) proudly serves Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island and all of Europe, Puerto Rico, and the U. S. Virgin Islands.
The Regional Manager is Kristina Tiedke
Kristina L. Tiedke has worked for the IRS for twelve years. She is working towards her Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. She found FEW five years ago and it has helped her focus on career goals. Kristina has been to four NTPs and four RTPs all of which have been a great learning experience. As the new Regional Manager she hopes to inspire everyone to take time to take care of themselves so that when they retire, they can spend all of their time at the beach and not at the doctor’s office.
As Regional Manager, she and her team visit local chapters, conduct agency visits, participate in special events as keynote speakers and encourage development of new chapters throughout the Region. She as well lead the region in participating in local conferences to showcase FEW to potential new members. Additionally, her region offers an annual Regional Training Program; and, participates in National FEW events, such as the National Training Program and National Board of Director meetings. The Region furthers the mission and goals of FEW through training, networking, outreach, and participation.
